About these New Baby Cards
New baby cards get sent into a house where nobody has slept, which is why the good ones are short. The parents read it once, prop it on a shelf with the others, and come across it again a year later when the shelf gets cleared. The name is the whole reason to personalise one, and it is also the thing most likely to be spelled wrong by everybody else, so it is worth checking twice before you order.
The designs stay soft rather than cartoonish, with real foil in silver or rose gold picking out the name.
Printed on heavyweight cardstock in my studio in Mallow and blank inside, because congratulations on a new baby is something people want to say in their own words. New Baby Cards questions, answered
What size are the cards, and what do they cost?
Most designs come in two sizes. A6 at 10.5 by 14.8 cm, from 3.99 euro, and A5 at 14.8 by 21 cm, from 4.50 euro. A few designs are A6 only. The sizes and prices available are shown on each product page.
Can I add a name?
On personalised designs, yes. Type the name into the box on the product page and it is printed on the card. Premade designs are printed exactly as shown, with no name.
Is anything printed inside?
No. The inside is left blank so you can write your own message. Any personalisation is printed on the front of the card.
Does it come with an envelope?
Yes. Every card is sent with an envelope included in the price, kraft or white depending on the design.
Are the cards foiled or printed?
Both. Most designs are printed on 300gsm card with a smooth matte finish, and some are finished with real foil pressed by hand. A few are scratch-off. The finish is stated on each product page.
What if I spot a mistake in the details?
Message me straight away. If it has not gone to print yet I will fix it at no cost. Once it is printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
