About these Edible Cupcake Toppers
Cupcake toppers are sold by the sheet, and the count is the thing worth reading before you order. Fifteen at 5cm suits standard cupcakes and looks generous on them. Thirty at 3.8cm is the one to take if you are feeding a classroom, and it also fits mini cases and the tops of biscuits.
They arrive pre-cut, so there is no scissors work at eleven o'clock the night before a party. Icing sheet gives the brighter colour and melts into buttercream. Wafer paper is thinner, holds up better on anything wet, and has a slight texture to it. Both are offered on every design, so you can choose by what you are putting them on.

Edible or non-edible, here's how each one works.
Are these edible or non-edible?
Both are available, and each product page says clearly which one it is. Edible toppers are printed on icing sheet or wafer paper. Non-edible toppers are printed on cardstock or glitter card and are decorative only, not for eating.
How do I put the topper on?
Edible toppers peel from their backing and lay straight onto buttercream or fondant. Non-edible toppers are inserted into the cake or display on a stick or stand, listed on the product page.
Will the colours match what I see on screen?
Close, but not always exact. Edible printing in particular can come out slightly softer than a backlit screen shows. Cardstock and glitter card hold colour more true to screen.
What name and wording can go on it?
Most designs take a name and age or a short message, entered in the personalisation box on the product page. I set it into the design exactly as you type it, so double check spelling before ordering.
How long do they take, and how long do they keep?
Made to order and dispatched within 2-4 working days. Edible toppers are best used within a day or two of the cake being finished, you can keep edible toppers stored in cold dark place but not in fridge for up to 6 months. Non-edible toppers can be made well in advance and kept until the day.
Can you do a custom design not shown in the shop?
Often, yes. Message me with the theme or the cake you're planning and I'll let you know if it's possible and what it would cost
