About these Mother's Day Gifts
The trouble with Mother's Day is that most of what gets bought is gone by the Tuesday. Flowers, chocolates, a candle she already had two of. A shadow box frame is the opposite of that. A name, a date, a few words set behind glass, and it ends up on a hall table or a windowsill where it stays for years, which is a strange and lovely thing to have caused.
Two frame sizes are made, 13x18cm for a mantelpiece and 25x25cm when it needs to hold more, in designs including Grá go Deo, Best Mam, Love Mam in blue roses and an Irish flag version. The spa vouchers do a different job entirely. If the real present is a treatment you have already booked, a foil voucher with her name on it gives her something to open on the morning rather than a screenshot of a confirmation email.
Everything is made to order in Mallow, County Cork. Foil is pressed by hand rather than printed with metallic ink. Dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post, so order the week before rather than the Thursday. See also Mother's Day cards and cards for Mam.

How does personalising work?
On the product page there's a box for the name, age or wording you want. Some designs add that text into the printed design itself, others leave the inside blank for you to write by hand. Each product page says which one it is.
Can I see a proof before it's printed?
For a straightforward name and date, I print without a separate proof. If your wording is longer or unusual, message me first and I'll confirm it before it goes to print.
What if I spot a typo after I've ordered?
Message me as soon as you can. If it hasn't gone to print yet I can fix it for free. Once it's printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
What foil colours do you offer?
Gold, silver, rose gold and holographic, plus gold holographic on some designs, I have over 30 foil color to choose from. Each product page shows which colours are available for that card.
Which size should I pick?
A6 is the standard card size and A5 is roughly double, better when the design carries a lot of wording or you want it to feel like a keepsake.
How long before it arrives?
- Made to order and dispatched within 2-4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
