About these Gaeilge Prints
Gaeilge on a wall does something a translation cannot. Mo Stóirín over a cot, A Chuid den tSaol in a bedroom, Dia Duit inside a front door: the phrase carries the affection in the language it was meant for, and nobody has to explain it to the people who matter. These are the prints that get bought for grandparents, for Gaelscoil classrooms at the end of the year, and for houses where the language is being kept alive on purpose.
Every phrase is set as typography and printed on premium 300gsm uncoated stock, with fadas rendered properly rather than approximated. Each design can be ordered printed or pressed in real hot foil, and the foil version tends to be the one chosen for a gift. Sizes are A5, A4 and A3, always supplied unframed, so a frame can be matched to the room it is going into.

Gaeilge Prints questions, answered
Do prints come framed?
No, prints are sent unframed. They are standard A5, A4 and A3 sizes, so they fit off the shelf frames without cutting or mounting.
How are they posted?
Flat, in a rigid protective sleeve, so nothing arrives creased or rolled.
Can I check the wording before it prints?
For a short name and date I print without a separate proof. For longer or unusual wording, message me first and I will confirm it before printing.
What is the foil like on a print?
Real foil pressed by hand in gold, silver, rose gold or holographic, so the lettering moves in the light. It photographs badly and looks far better in person, which is why each listing says which parts are foiled.
Can I have different names or wording?
Most designs allow your own names, dates and short wording, entered in the personalisation box on the product page.
Can I get the same design in a different size later?
Yes, most designs are available across A5, A4 and A3, so if you want a bigger or smaller version afterwards, just order it as a separate print.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
