About these The Kawaii Foodie Birthday Collection
These are my own illustrations: sushi with faces, boba tea, ramen bowls and a very pleased slice of cake. The style comes out of Japanese kawaii and it lands hardest with the eight to fifteen bracket, the ones who draw this sort of thing themselves in the back of a copybook and can tell instantly whether it was made by someone who understands it or churned out by someone who does not.
They also work for the adults who are deep into the same aesthetic and would far rather have a smiling dumpling than a floral card, which is more people than you would expect.
Printed on heavyweight cardstock in my studio in Mallow, blank inside, with a kraft or white envelope. The name is set into the design in the same hand drawn lettering rather than dropped on in a system font. Dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post. What is in this collection?
Everything here shares a look rather than a format. Depending on the design you will find greeting cards alongside cupcake toppers, welcome signs and foil keepsakes.
Do the designs match across formats?
Where a design runs in more than one format the artwork is the same, so a card and a cupcake topper from the same design line up. Not every design runs across every format. If you want one applied to something you cannot see here, message me before you order.
How does personalising work?
Each product page has a box for the name, date or wording. Some designs print that text into the artwork, others leave space for you to write it yourself. The product page tells you which.
Should I order everything in one go?
It helps. Ordering together means one dispatch, one postage charge, and I can check the spelling of the name is identical across every piece before anything is printed.
What if I spot a mistake in the details?
Message me straight away. If it has not gone to print yet I will fix it at no cost. Once it is printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
How long before it arrives?
Made to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
