About these Graduation Cards
Conferring day runs on a tight schedule and the card usually gets handed over in a corridor or a car park, somewhere between the gown being returned and the meal being found. It ends up in the photographs, held up beside the scroll, which is a reasonable argument for choosing the larger size and for keeping the front clean.
The designs name the qualification rather than just saying well done, because a degree after four years and a postgrad after one are not the same achievement and the person involved is very aware of that.
Printed on heavyweight cardstock in my studio in Mallow, blank inside, made to order with the name and the year set into the design. Real foil is pressed by hand, and gold suits these best. Dispatch is 2 to 4 working days by An Post. See also graduation gifts and keepsakes, congratulations cards and debs cards.
Your questions, answered
Everything you need to know before you personalise a card.
How does personalising work?
On the product page there's a box for the name, age or wording you want. Some designs add that text into the printed design itself, others leave the inside blank for you to write by hand. Each product page says which one it is.
Can I see a proof before it's printed?
For a straightforward name and date, I print without a separate proof. If your wording is longer or unusual, message me first and I'll confirm it before it goes to print.
What if I spot a typo after I've ordered?
Message me as soon as you can. If it hasn't gone to print yet I can fix it for free. Once it's printed and dispatched, a replacement is a paid reprint.
What foil colours do you offer?
Gold, silver, rose gold and holographic, plus gold holographic on some designs, I have over 30 foil color to choose from. Each product page shows which colours are available for that card.
Which size should I pick?
A6 is the standard card size and A5 is roughly double, better when the design carries a lot of wording or you want it to feel like a keepsake.
How long before it arrives?
- Made to order and dispatched within 2-4 working days, then standard An Post delivery within Ireland.
